Introduction The computerized Payroll System was created to developed the old manually Payroll System. The researchers encourage the Northern Zambales college, Inc in order to enhance or develop their existing system that can help them to be more accurate and efficient in computing the salary of the employees. Payroll system is a system designed for the employee of some business organization. It is done manually and very time consuming. Computerized Payroll System is a system that is done automatically and more efficient and will lessen time in computing the salary of the employeeââ¬â¢s. A payroll system allows the employer to pay employees on time and accurately, plus comply with other statutory regulations. Manual payroll means that you, or another employee within your company, calculate the payroll each pay period entirely on paper. This process was very popular when there were no computerized means for payroll. You will need to calculate taxes, insurance and any other applicable deductions and allowances in addition to each employees actual earnings. As computer technology changes at such fast phase, many offices try to cope up by upgrading computer system constantly in order to stay competitive. The purpose of this ââ¬Å"Computerized Payroll System ââ¬Å" saves time, money and lowers your error ratio. Theyre very easy to use and theyre also very practical. You can enter payroll payment information quicker than with a manual system, and run payroll registers to double-check your information before printing the checks. B. Background of the study Automated Payroll is a tracking and monitoring system for equipment combined with powerful and effective maintenance tracking features with extreme easy use, making the ideal choice for your equipment and facility maintenance scheduling. Our Electronic management System (EMS), tracking and monitoring for industrial, recreational and campsite facilities and is adaptable for many other industry sectors by providing a traceable history of maintenance activities undertake with specific gear and equipment. Automated Payroll is a user friendly electronic management system and requires minimal training for staff while producing quick and easy reports and maintenance history. All prudent operators have record keeping system varying from manually recording events and processes, to sophisticated computerized management system. The system will identify, record and generate reports in relation to usage, maintenance scheduling, date into service, usage time remaining retirement/expiration dates etc. C. Hypothesis At the end of the study the researchers came up with the the following hypothesis: That the System will simplify and speed up the processing of Northern Zambales College, Inc. employees Payroll System. That the system will necessary for upgrading the records of Payroll System. E. Significance of the Study Technological Significance In todayââ¬â¢s generation, computers made an important role to both company and the group as well. To the company, it can help them lessen their time in manipulating those data required in the Payroll System. It can provide a more accurate and efficient managed of employees record. Since the Payroll system will make easy for the administration to make a details which each very important for the accounting department as well as the owner of the school. Methods of the research used Researchers proposed the system for approval then after that it has been approved they decided what programming language should be use in order to meet all the system requirements. Researchers started to gathered information and all necessary data neede d for the proposed system through conducting an interview with the Northern Zambales College Inc. registrar and some instructor The researchers started to design the system. They decided to use the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 programming language for the development of the system. Researchers had come up to develop proposed system which is the Automated Payroll System. Some modification and findings have been done for the proper, clear and accurate result. They had also come up with a very good result in terms of the documentation and all necessary reports have been completed. The desire output will now presented, researchers prepared the system for the presentation. B.. Data Gathering Instrument In order to gather information for this undertaking, several data gathering instrument were utilized. Among this are the following. INTERVIEW ââ¬â This is the probably the most productive method to obtain Broad background information. Many items can be determined from the interviewer that would be almost possible to obtain from written documents. The Existing System Some manual System will exist. Now we are going to move on as of now. As we can study the problem of some Employees regarding their payroll record, there are some conditions to issue this record. The payroll system keeps accurate employee data stored in an easily accessible database. The system has the ability to update and maintain employee information and to generate required outputs including paychecks, Each week, data on the current pay period is entered into the system and verified. This data is used to update the employee master file with appropriate additions, changes and deletions and to generate required output. B. It is also in this study is one complete personal computer, colored monitor, mouse and printer. The software used by the prponents to develop the system is Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. Chapter VI Summary Conclusion and Recommendation A. Summary The findings to indicate that there is too much time and efforts needed for the processing of the system of Northern Zambales College, Inc.. Furthermore the researchers had found out that there are some employee in the Accounting Department who had the abilities to handle and maintain the proposed system for the computerization of record. B. Conclusion Base on the finding of the study, it has concluded that the computerization of Payroll System of Northern Zambales College, Inc. of Masinloc is must be avoid the unintentional errors in processing of Payroll and keeps accurate employee data stored in an easily accessible database. Furthermore, the adoption of a computerized Payroll System of Northern Zambales College, Inc. will not give too many difficulties on the department who will handle it because some of them have knowledge in information technology and data base management. C. Recommendation In view of the fore going findings and conclusion it is recommended that the Northern Zambales College, Inc. of Masinloc need to procure latest types of computer hardware that have the capabilities to manage database properly and can run the proposed system. D. Glossary Definition of terms Computer system The physical equipment and instruction that is,hardware and software used as a unit to process data. It includes the central processing unit(CPU) its operating system and perepherals equipment and program under its control. Data base ââ¬â The collection of all data used and produced by computer. In large system database analysis is usually with large qualities of data stored in disk and tape files. Smaller microcomputer system is more frequent concerned with database allocation of available memory locations between the program and data storage area.
